"The instrument through which dance speaks is also the instrument through which life is lived; the human body."- Martha Graham. Every single one of us is born with an innate sense of rhythm-our heart beat-and we inhabit the instrument that creates the art of dance. I feel very fortunate to spend my life challenging the overwhelming capabilities of the human body and creative mind.
I attended Weber State University on a dance scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Art in Dance Education and a teaching License in December of 2010. I have maintained connections with my Alma Mater as a member of the Alumni Association, and through a commission to choreograph for Orchesis dance theater via the dance departments' Alumni Fellowship.
